YINPIANNI gave us a wonderful afternoon of music and fun on Sunday.
What work and what talent!
A very big thank you to Geoff Davidson, Mike Stenhouse and their very talented page turner for such a fun(d)raiser for us. And to the ‘full house’ who supported them and the Choral.

So said our Review by Brian York in the Dumfries and Galloway Standard.
And our audience clearly agreed, with enthusiastic applause requiring our conductor, soloists and accompanists to return to the floor for a second bow. ‘Bravo’!
In Vaughan Williams ‘Five Mystical Songs’ the Choral ‘really rose to the spirit of the music’.
In Nebuchadnezzar, the Choral had some ‘truly powerful moments’ and together it was ‘music making of a high order’.

Our Christmas Concert was a great sing.
Our Musical Director, Ed Taylor, put together a lovely programme, clearly appreciated by our audience.
The community carols raised the roof and our generous audience helped us to raise a combined total of £825 for the Dumfries and Galloway Blood Bikes.
After receiving our cheque, the Chairman of D and G Blood Bikes stunned us all when he said that tonight, together, we had saved a life. Now, that makes for a Happy Christmas.

We moved to a new venue for our Saturday carol singing fundraiser this year and received a warm welcome from our hosts, Gardenwise.
We are raising money for D & G Blood Bikes at this event and our Christmas Concert on the 17th December. It was great to have Dave and the blood bike, Karen, with us at Gardenwise.
The bike stole the show!
